Founded in 2025, Of The Earth Manufacturing was born out of a vision to bring exceptional quality and innovation to the dietary supplement industry. Co-owned by industry veterans Stuart Bates, Marc Finn and Frank Maurio, the company leverages decades of experience to offer premier contract manufacturing, white labeling, and co-packaging services for botanical, alternative medicine, and dietary supplement products.

Stuart Bates
Co-Owner & Founder
Stuart brings extensive expertise in formulation development and quality control to Of The Earth Manufacturing. His experience includes overseeing Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Operational Engineering, and Analytical Equipment Validation. With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Hampden-Sydney College, Stuart’s career has spanned roles as Vice President of Formulation Development at Delta 9 Analytical and President of Vortex Sales Group, LLC. His knowledge and commitment to quality ensure that every product meets the highest industry standards.
Marc Finn
Co-Owner & Founder
Marc leads product development and manufacturing at Of The Earth Manufacturing, drawing on his rich background in pharmaceutical manufacturing and business development. With a diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Toronto Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and an Hon BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Waterloo, Marc’s career highlights include senior leadership roles at Delta 9 Analytical, Vortex Sales Group, LLC, and Amerigen Pharmaceuticals. His certifications include ISO 9001:2008, demonstrating his commitment to quality and compliance.
Frank Maurio
COO & Chief Scientific Officer
Frank serves as the Chief Scientific Officer and heads up Laboratory Services for Of The Earth Manufacturing Company, bringing over 25 years of scientific expertise in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Clinical Toxicology. During his 12-year tenure at GlaxoSmithKline, he led a team focused on analyzing gene expression (RNA) in both normal and diseased cell lines, designing and validating experiments to identify potential drug candidates. Later, Frank transitioned to Clinical Toxicology, where he built and managed a urine drug confirmation lab that processes over 3,000 specimens per month using high throughput robotics and LC/MS/MS technology. His dedication to innovation and quality ensures that Of The Earth Manufacturing Company stays at the forefront of scientific advancement.
